2015 Regional Chapter Officers Programs

Here are the remaining Regional Chapter Officer Programs (formerly called 'Mini Retreats') for 2015. Please note all programs are held on a Saturday:

The Regional Chapter Officer Programs are open to all chapter board members regardless of position. To review a sample agenda click here. There is no cost to attend, other than your own personal travel costs. ONS will provide lunch and refreshment breaks. RSVPs are required. Nurse In Washington Internship

NIWI, March 5-8, 2016 in Washington, DC. DEADLINE TO APPLY: November 2, 2015!

The Nurse in Washington Internship (NIWI) Program is an annual event sponsored by the Nursing Organizations Alliance (the Alliance). With over 60 organizations, ONS is one of them, The Alliance represents approximately 500,000 nurses. The Alliance sponsors the internships to promote the interests of its member groups through education, research, and health-policy activities. 

The purpose of the NIWI Program is to provide nurses the opportunity to learn how to influence health care through legislative and regulatory processes. Participants learn from health policy experts and governmental officials and network with other nurses.
